This well balanced sword may be wielded single-handed or hand-and-a-half style and would (and perhaps did!) give an excellent accounting of itself in the field of battle by Edward III of England.		Construction is tooled leather over wood with a goatskin backing and brass decorations. A traditonal spike screws into the central boss, with a spike sheath attached to the back of the targe. The arm strap and hand grip are leather covered.
